1. China slowdown biggest threat to global economy: Ken Rogoff
China is capable of moving the world market any way and it has always been the main engine in the growth of world economy. The hard landing will definitely cause turbulence worldwide. Based on the past history and timely reaction and speedy actions on making suitable changes in the policies, China can overcome and cross this bridge.
2. Sushma Swaraj targets Pak at UNGA; says Kashmir is & will always be part of India
She named and shamed Pakistan at UN. But along with the heavy speeches heavy actions within the country and cross border are expected by all.
3. Blood and water can’t flow together: PM at Indus treaty
This is an alternate route of attack. The treaty should be reviewed in the light of terror attack, India is not Pakistan, but can always review the same if the original treaty was not fair. It was not done with due diligence.
4. Cong demands India declare Pakistan a terror state
Just following the wind of what the public thinks asking for such a declaration is an action that holds a lot of consequences. Considering the risky tactic Congress is utilizing will definitely gain support but put the Indo-Pak relations in an up-heave. Of course it should be done, but the fact we all know every Opposition party in center show extra ordinary courage and claims so many big ideas against terrorism and their sponsor.
5. Akhilesh Yadav’s Final Cabinet Expansion Before Polls On September 26
This will be the eighth expansion of the Akhilesh Yadav government since it assumed office in 2012.
Sacked Mines Minister Gayatri Prajapati is all set to be inducted as a cabinet minister as part of a compromise formula to end the recent family feud in the Yadav clan, but he may get a different portfolio.
