PB’s twisty take on the top five headlines of the day.
1. India has become more aspirational under PM Modi: FM Jaitley
While Port up gradation is essential to get connected to International trade, investment in roads and adopting high speed train technology have immense long term benefits to quickly adapt Modern technology and revive economy. We have to weigh & re-look at the logic of spending.
2. Samajwadi Party crisis deepens with expulsion of close Akhilesh aide
It is a letter and is not on this line definitely, is breach of discipline. The department might be punished. Also, it wouldn’t be surprising if the expelled Singh along with a few opportunists from SP land up in the BJP camp just before the elections.
3. Mamata Banerjee chalks out ‘roadmap’ to counter BJP-RSS in Bengal
Whatever footing BJP gained in Bengal, have lost it due to its anti poor policies. But then again this strategy has been used by Mamata many times. A few days back Supreme Court has issued notice to her Government and the ED on Shardha Chit Fund scam in which her Ministers are also involved. Now she plans to black mail the Government with her old tactics to stall work in Parliament.
4. Army ‘upset’ over being dragged into politics over film
“New Delhi: Senior Army officials and veterans were “upset” over the force being dragged into “politics” over films after the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) ………..” It is really disturbing. Somebody in Parliament must force the D.M to issue statements. The Shiv Sana terrorists have gone to far in their Hate Propaganda to involve the army.
5. Arvind Kejriwal has lost moral right to be CM: BJP
Now the real face is getting exposed and people no longer beleive loose talk of people like satish upadhay and his fellow coterie. fumes by saying disproportionate coverage to AAP and wants to be happy calling it a regional party, let it be so. Whether they win the elections or not, which depends until now mainly on money and muscle power, their impact is there clearly to be seen on the national scale.
