PB’s twisty take on the top five headlines of the day.
1. China Says Willing To Discuss Possibilities With India On Nuclear Group
China will play ping pong with India’s bid for NSG and UN ban of Massod Azhar, as there are multiple reasons, one to please Pakistan for CPEC, secondly Dalai Lama the Noble peace, spiritual leader of Tibet, who lives in exile in India. Other than this, there is the ongoing border dispute about the Indian territory either occupied or claimed by China.
2. Brent oil price hits highest level in a year
At around 1453 GMT, the price hit USD 53.45 – a USD 1.53 increase. The OPEC oil cartel, of which Russia is not a member, agreed two weeks ago to limit their production and thereby limit the overcapacity that has brought down global oil prices.
3. Burhan Wani was pride of Kashmir: Pakistan PM
It would be nice if Pakistan is proud of some scientific achievements instead of glorifying a terrorist. Since the surgical strike, Pakistan has been bolder with words. The unrest is strong between the two countries.
4. BJP will win 26 out of 40 seats in Goa: Manohar Parrikar
They did the prediction in New Delhi that they will take over New Delhi, but crashed from 29 seats to 3. They were sure about taking of Bihar, and a big majority in West Bengal, but when the result came, it was turned like the Rs. 15 lakh gift/person of the black money windfall. He is too busy being the defacto CM of Goa and of course now with the electioneering for the next term.
5. Akhilesh backs Rahul Gandhi’s remarks on strikes, takes a dig at PM
Who does one blame more, the electorates/party that elected/installed such leaders, or the leaders themselves – now that is tough to decide. People are not giving valu to hs party, how can one give value to his statement.
