PB’s twisty take on the top five headlines of the day.
1. Modi hits out at cow brigade, says Gau Rakshaks are anti-socials
A message, howsoever hard hitting it may be, loses its significance when it comes too late and too small. If Modi is really angry, he should ask the law enforcing agencies to bring to the books the so called cow rakshaks who are on killing spree at their own whims. These Gau Rakshaks want only to light the Hindu-Muslim hatred in this country.
2. Rahul summoned by Assam court over ‘RSS remarks’
Most probably, Rahul Gandhi will appeal against the court summons like he does. Congress and Rahul are making the way clear for the growth of popularity of both Na Mo and the BJP.
3. Subir Gokarn meets Rajan, speculation on RBI move
Government must look for the best option for the governor post rather than a political follower like the ones appointed for FTII and NIFT. It is in the interest of government to appoint a right Governor and not a yes man.
4. Day After 3 Deaths, 200 Protests, Kashmir Tense. Omar Abdullah Targets PM
Mehbooba has lost the plot and is not able to control the situation. BJP should withdraw support and impose Governor Rule in the state. PM should immediately visit Kashmir to defuse the situation before it gets out of hand. It is a known fact that the trouble is being fomented by extremists through innocent Kashmiri youth who face the bullets of the armed forces.
5. People Should Approach LG For Resolving Civic Issues Now: AAP
Going by Ashutosh’s analogy for of L-G to resolve civic issues, and if nobody delivers it, it is the AAP who is going to suffer in next election and not L-G because people will say that the government has not performed. Also by making such a statement he is also disrespecting the judgement of Jury and courts of India.
